Pictures 12-19/You Capture Yellow

It has rained 10 of the 13 days this month. I literally went outside during a break between showers yesterday. I got this idea right away after seeing the theme was yellow. However with the rain and the travels it got put on the back burner till last night....oops. Well here they are:

Pictures 8-11/You Capture

Using this weeks You Capture theme I took a few more pictures for my 100 Possibilities Project. (for more about this project and my past pictures click here.)

You Capture is the brain child of Beth of I should be folding laundry. On her blog it is a Thursday thing but since I already have a Thursday thing I thought I would post mine today and then link it up to her post on Thursday. It was great inspiration for my photography project. This weeks theme is

"Spring."

I moved in to my house the end of May last year....I didn't even know I had this bush. It just kind of appeared this year and boy is it pretty. Does anyone know what kind it is?

This is my favorite, I like the variety of colors and the contrast. I also like it because I can look at it and see what I should of corrected. The shoe on the right should have been angled a little more so you could see more of the shoe. This means I'm learning!!!

Lol this is on the new floor in my bathroom (still needs to be grouted) how is that for a tease?

I really like this one because it is more artistic than I normally am. I'm a boring centered straight on picture takers who would never crop off the edges of something on purpose. But then again that is why I'm doing this right?

These two pictures really make me smile they are all things from our wedding. The back bottle of wine was a gift and the wooden wine holders were bought on our honeymoon in Honduras and Belize. The of course the shoes.

Oh and there was no editing done to these pictures except cropping.

I took this one right before all the snow in our yard disappeared. I had to show MN winter somehow right?

Pictures 2 and 3 and one just for fun.

These were inspired by the demolition of my bathroom. I wanted to work on my lighting /flash use. I brought in a lamp from my living room and at one point had my hubby tilting it over the tub. It was a fun shoot. Here is some more information about my 100 possibilities project.

I'm removing tiles around all of the edges so that I can easily cut out the drywall. Wallpaper is coming down tomorrow between help from Jackie and my hubby. Who BTW still doesn't know when he is leaving for NC.

100 Possibilities Project

I'm excited and nervous for this one. I'm starting a photography challenge! I read about it on the i heart faces blog, and loved the demo pics. I can only dream that mine will look like that. But after a few days of consideration I finally picked my object that I will be, my wedding shoes!!!

This btw is not one of mine it is one of the wedding photographers, but I will be posting mine shortly (hopefully.) I'm excited I hope I learn a lot about my camera and the real way to use it!!
